Is any one else a fan of the tv show Heroes?
If so have you read the new book based on the show.
I saw it at the library and thought "Ok i know the end of the story (since it has already played out on the show) but let me read it anyway. "
It was rather good.
I will wait to see if anyone else has read it before i post exact thoughts and feelings.

love the show, but haven't read the book. Have read some of the online comics that are inbetweens of episodes, but they're not much, except they did give a lot more info on that one girl that helped Matt and Ted in season 1 (who, in the show, seemed to come out of nowhere, and go nowhere).

Almost one month later and a long time since i finished the book here are my thoughts:
First and foremost i wanted charlie to live, and as the story went further and further along i really wanted her to live (i know i am not giving anything away here since on the show she died and in the book she was not saved.)
In the how was it written category: not great, not bad but just good.
Good enough to keep you reading and good enough to lend hope to all things turning out for the better. It was funny and at times deepish but not to contrived or corny.
The depth into the characters was wonderful (like reading the princess bride after watching the movie) the insight to why the characters are as they are and do what they do was great. Hiro is my fav character on the show, i would actually turn away when his story wasn't on and then flip back to find him. So that is one reason i read the book.
Not really much else i can go into with out giving some of the story and plot away but i will just say it was worth the time and the energy.
My heart sank at the end and i rushed through the last few chapters because i was hoping there was some way it would turn out better.
Any one else read it yet?
