How lovely it is to be with you, oh Lord,
I am enraptured by your peaceful presence
Captured by the love you so gently impart
Your company is too precious for words
Fumbling poetry cannot express my delight
Rigorous analysis does not do you justice
Let silence be my song
A warm breeze gently blows around me
A symbol of your Spirit’s presence
Enveloped by His blissful calm, my heart relaxes
Like a swimmer in warm still water
In quiet solitude I contemplate your mystery
‘Drinking in’ the green beauty of your creation
Absorbing the majesty of your earth and sky
Let silence now speak
No barrier between you and me, oh Lord
It’s just you and I together
Delighting in each one another’s presence
Enjoying each other’s company
Undisturbed by worldly troubles
We are joined in intimate union
You in me, I in you
Let silence now shout
‘God is love
Blessed be His name forever! Amen’
I am enraptured by your peaceful presence
Captured by the love you so gently impart
Your company is too precious for words
Fumbling poetry cannot express my delight
Rigorous analysis does not do you justice
Let silence be my song
A warm breeze gently blows around me
