I have spent an enormous chunk of life writing, editing and publishing 1835 Mark Twain style Christian Comedy, Salt Lick Vol. I and II.
Now I can't get an agent to touch it with a ten foot pole, simply because it is considered a prepublished work. Actually all I did was protect it with a copy write and run a few copies for my grand kids. But, it looks like POD publishing throws your work in a closet for eternity. No matter how good it is, no one will touch it, neither agent nor publisher, even though I own the copy write.
If anyone knows a reputable agent who will represent a writer of POD manuscripts please advise me soon.
