Keith, I don't know if I should have put this here or in support. I think it's both. Anyway, I was wondering, since many of us are confused as to the rules and etiquette to be displayed in the poetry workshop, and since they are not clearly defined anywhere, would if be possible to write some rules in a sticky? Also, there is nothing that states that one cannot post a work within someone else's thread and when one is called on the carpet for it, they do not understand why. Just thought some clarity on these issues might help all. Thank you.

The poetry workshop is a 'special' animal in that it mostly consists of small (an frequent) pieces - unlike those workshops which go for the marathon rather than the sprint! As such it does deserve some 'particular' rules. Placing ones own work onto another persons thread (and I know I have done this way back in the past) shouldn't happen - a link to a new thread containing the work is perfectly acceptable (the other workshops are not prone to such things by their very nature). We are currently exploring the possibilities for the poetry workshop and new rules may be posted when we've maped it out.

Thanks, Keith. I'm sure this will help ease the confusion.
