Hi everyone,
I'm going to give a lecture at the Hollywood Jesus conference in the next few weeks on the differences between film screenplay format and TV screenplay format. Truthfully, I can tell you a million things about film scripts, and very little about TV scripts. I've got some basics under my belt, but I'm interested in hearing some of your comments about
1) any techniques used in TV scripts that aren't typically used in film scripts, and/or
2) how the restraints of a TV script might impact a viewer differently than a standard film script.
I know this is a very technical question, but I have no practical experience in the TV script department. Maybe I should try to write one before the lecture! I'll bet that would open my eyes quite a bit! HA!
