Hey fellow screenwriters,
Just wanted to let you know of a couple of places to find help/info for screenwriters.
The first one is Inktip (www.inktip.com) It's NOT Christian but does post Christian markets on occassion. If you subscribe to the newsletter (free) and sign up (also free) you can get some valuable market info.!thumbsup!
This one I haven't really explored but it looks interesting. If anyone has any info on it, post it here. Christian Film Festival Org. (http://www.christianfilmfestival.org/)
And for those who would like to get involved with an independent organization IFP (www.ifp.org) is a good solid organization. It's not Christian per se but lots of Christians belong. I belong to the Phoenix chapter and they have tons of benefits including classes, networking and competitions. If you live in or near New York, Chicago, Seattle, Phoenix or Minnesota by all means, give it a look. I wish now, they had a chapter here in LA but alas they don't.
Last but not least, Act One (www.actoneprogram.com) a wonderful organization dedicated to training and promoting Christians for the movie industry, should be a place you visit often to see if there's a screenwriting weekend coming to your neck of the woods. I heartily endorse their efforts and purpose. If nothing else, by attending one of their weekends, you will know if you're cut out for the biz. . .
