This piece was inspired one dawn when I was giving thanks to the Lord for his mercies and grace. I have just finished telling him that I loved him and he replied; 'I AM LOVE' Allow these words to flow through you and see the change it brings to your heart. We may well love God because of who he is or what he has done for us, but He is Love' He has no option but to love us because its his nature to love us.
And so I began to write the folloing down as I received it; may it bless you as the Lord speaks through the words.
GOD IS LOVE... (1 John 4:16)
My beloved child, allow me to introduce myself;
‘I AM LOVE’
‘I am long suffering and patient,’ (I never give up, never get tired of waiting for you.)
‘I am kind’ (and I care more for you than for myself.)
‘I am never envious’, (nor am I jealous never desiring what I do not have)
‘I am not boastful’ (nor do I brag about myself or sing my own praises.)
‘I am not puffed up,’ (arrogant or proud having a high opinion of myself rather I humbled my self and took upon myself the form of a servant...)
I AM LOVE:
‘I never behave myself in an unseemly nor rude manner,’ (nor do I behave indecently forcing myself on others demanding my own way because my ways are always fair.)
‘I seek not my own,’ (I take no thought for myself for I am not selfish, for me it’s never a question of ‘me first’)
‘I am not easily provoked to anger,’ (I am not quick tempered nor do I fly off the handle easily.)
‘I do nothing evil’ (nor do I keep a record of wrong doings, a score of the sins of others)
I AM LOVE;
‘I rejoice not in iniquity,’ (unrighteousness injustice or wrongdoing, nor do I rejoice when others grovel.)
‘I rejoice in the truth,’ (indeed my joy is in what is true)
‘I am not happy when injustice is done,’ (but I am always happy with the truth.)
I AM LOVE;
‘I bear all things,’ (I am always supportive, and I never give up on you, never stop being patient and I silently cover all things.)
‘I believe all things’ (and have faith in all things)
‘I hope all things,’ (always looking for the best,)
‘I endure all things,’ (never giving up, going on to the end I endure through all circumstances with perseverance and suffering)
I AM LOVE:
‘I never fail; I will never come to an end. Prophecies will fail, speaking in unknown tongues will cease and the gift of knowledge shall vanish away.’ but ‘love will never fail.’ (1 Corinthians 13: 4-7)
I AM LOVE:
Is it not written ‘that I so loved you that I ‘gave my only begotten Son’? John 3:16. There is no need to perish, no need to fear for I have made a way of escape from destruction, indeed everlasting life is available to anyone who puts their trust in my Son Jesus Christ.
I AM LOVE:
‘I show mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.’ Deuteronomy 5:10 (KJVR) and ‘because you have set your love upon me, therefore will I deliver you: I will set you on high, because you have known my name.’ Psalm 91:14 (KJVR)
I AM LOVE:
I the LORD ‘preserve all them that love me: but all the wicked will I destroy.’ Psalm 145:20 (KJVR) ‘Cleave unto me: for I am your life, and the length of your days’ Deuteronomy 30:20 (KJVR) indeed ‘I cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.’ Proverbs 8:21 (KJVR) (indeed ‘I will give wealth to those who love me, filling their houses with treasures.’) Proverbs 8:21 GNB
I AM LOVE:
‘I will love you, and bless you, and multiply you’ I will also bless the fruit of thy womb, Deuteronomy 7:13 (KJVR)
I AM LOVE:
‘I have chosen you in my Son before the foundation of the world, that you should be holy and without blame before him in love:’ Ephesians 1:4 (KJVR) ‘I am merciful, for when were dead because of your sins, I loved you so much that I made you alive with Christ, my wonderful kindness saved and rescued you.’ Ephesians 2:4 (CEV)
I AM LOVE:
‘I commended my love toward you, in that, while you were yet a sinner, Christ died for you. Romans 5:8 (KJVR) Indeed ‘I put my love on the line for you by offering my Son in sacrificial death while you were of no use whatever to me.’ Romans 5:8 (MSG)
I AM LOVE:
‘In all your troubles, I was troubled, too. I didn't send someone else to help you. I did it himself, in person.’ Isaiah 63:9. Again I say ‘In all you’re suffering I also suffered, and I personally rescued you. In my love and mercy I redeemed you and lifted you up and carried you through all the years.’ Isaiah 63:9 (NLT)
I AM LOVE:
‘Who then shall separate you from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? No, in all these things you are more than conquerors, (you will gain a decisive victory) through him that loved you. Be persuaded then my beloved child that ‘neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate you from my love, which is in Christ Jesus your Lord.’ Romans 8:35-39 (KJVR)
I AM LOVE:
If you fall ‘I will heal your backsliding, (waywardness and faithlessness.) I will love you freely, (for my love will know no bounds) and my anger is turned away from you.’ Hosea 14:4 (KJVR)
Have you not read, ‘Love works no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.’ (KJVR) ‘You can't go wrong when you love others. When you add up everything in the law, the sum total is love.’ Romans 13:10 (MSG) So ‘love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;’ Mat 5:43-44 (KJVR)
I AM LOVE:
‘Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.’ John 15:13 (KJVR) so, ‘let your love be without dissimulation (or hypocrisy) Detest that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.’ Romans 12:9 (KJVR) once again ‘don't just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.’ (NLT)
I AM LOVE:
The fruit of my Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians 5:22 (KJVR) By my Spirit I have enabled you to, ‘walk in love, as Christ also hath loved you, and has given himself for you an offering and a sacrifice to me.’ Eph 5:2 (KJVR) Therefore husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Eph 5:25 ((KJVR) Again I say, ‘each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.’ Ephesians 5:33 (NLT) ‘Teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children’ Titus 2:’4 (KJVR)
I AM LOVE:
Have you not read, my ‘love is shed abroad in your hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto you.’ Romans 5:5 (KJVR) ‘All men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.’ John 13:35 (KJVR) ‘if a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, we will come unto him, and make our dwelling with him.’ John 14:23 (KJVR)
I AM LOVE:
Have you not heard, ‘I loved the world so much that I gave my sons life for you so that as many as believed in him would not perish but have everlasting life’ 1 John 3:16 (KJVR) ‘Even as I laid down my life for you: so ought you to lay down your life for the brethren. 1 John 3:16 Love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.’ 1 John 4:7 (KJVR) ‘He that loves not, knows me not; for I am love.’ 1 John 4:8 (KJVR) Indeed, ‘I am rich in mercy for with great love have I loved you’ Ephesians 2:4 (KJVR)
I AM LOVE:
Be assured my beloved child ‘there is laid up for you a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give you at that day: and not to you only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.’ 2 Timothy 4:8 (KJVR) Remember that I your God, ‘am not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which you have showed toward my name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.’ Hebrews 6:10 (KJVR) Therefore ‘consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:’ Hebrews 10:24 (KJVR)
I AM LOVE:
‘In this was manifested my love toward you, I sent my only begotten Son into the world, that you might live through him.’ 1 John 4:9 (KJVR) ‘Herein is love, not that you loved me, but that I loved you, and sent my Son to be the propitiation, (the atoning victim) for your sins.’ 1 John 4:10(KJVR) Have you not read that ‘God is love; and he that dwells in love dwells in God and God in him?’ 1 John 4:16
I AM LOVE:
‘There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear hath torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.’ 1 John 4:18 (KJVR) Again I say to you, ‘No fear exists where my love is. Rather, perfect love gets casts out fear, because fear involves punishment. The person who lives in fear does not have perfect love.’ 1 John 4:18. (GW) So, my children, my beloved, ‘know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God.’ Ephesians 3:19 (KJVR) and ‘be rooted and grounded in love,’ Ephesians 3:17 (KJVR)
I AM LOVE:
‘Love was despised and rejected of men a man of sorrows acquainted with grief, Love carried your grief’s and your sorrows, ‘Love was wounded for your transgressions, Love was bruised for your iniquities, the chastisement of your peace was upon me and by my stripes you are healed’ Isaiah 53:3-5 (KJVR). Love took your infirmities and carried your sicknesses’ Matthew 8:17 (KJVR) and again I say, by my stripes you were healed; 1 Peter 2:24, because that’s what real love does.
I AM LOVE:
Have you not read, ‘let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man:’ James 1:13 (KJVR) indeed it is written that ‘there has no temptation overtaken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who with every temptation will make a way of escape that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13. (KJVR)
I AM LOVE;
‘If you then being evil know how to give good things to your children’ ask yourself, ‘how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to them that ask him? Matthew 7:11. (KJVR)
‘Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet will I not forget you.’ Isaiah 49:15 (KJVR) ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’ Hebrews 13:5(KJVR)
I AM LOVE:
‘If any man say, I love God and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother that he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? ‘He that loves me loves his brother also’ 1 John 4:20-21 (KJVR)
I AM LOVE:
To those who would accuse me of doing evil, of causing them harm, allow me to ask; would love kill an unborn child or take the life of a teenage son or daughter?
Would love destroy the very life it created? Would love send poverty, would love abuse or hurt the very child it formed in its mother’s womb?
Would love crush the broken hearted, would it oppress its own or leave and forsake its own child?
No!! Love died for the unlovable and the ungodly. Love willingly ‘laid down its life for you’ 1 John 3:16 (KJVR) and for all those who would reject it? Have you not heard that, ‘while you were still sinners love died for you?’ Romans 5:8 Have you not read that, ‘I washed you from your sins in my own blood’ Revelations 1:5. (KJVR)
Love was despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrow and acquainted with grief, Love bore your grief’s and carried your sorrows. Love was stricken and smitten of God and afflicted. Love was wounded for your transgressions and bruised for your iniquities; Love was chastised for your peace and by his stripes you are healed, Isaiah 53:3-6 (KJVR)
Love ‘died for you when you were ‘without strength,’ ‘while you were still an ungodly sinner, love died for you’ Romans 5:6-8(KJVR) Love loved his own which were in the world, indeed he loved them to the end’ John 13:1
Love, ‘left you another comforter’, the Holy Ghost who will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you’ John 14:26 (KJVR) Love left you ‘peace so that you need not be troubled’ John 14:27. (KJVR) and Joy that’s unspeakable and full of glory. Love ‘gave eternal life to you’ 1 John 5:11(KJVR) and to all who would simply, believe.
Love healed all that came, Matthew 12:15 (KJVR) indeed love healed every sickness and every disease among the people Matthew 9:35(KJVR) Love took your infirmities and love carried your sicknesses Matthew 8:17 (KJVR) Love fed the multitudes, Matthew 15:32-38(KJVR) and cleansed the leper. Matthew 8:1-3 (KJVR) Love raised the widows’ dead son, Love gave sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf and a voice to the dumb. Luke 7:12-15 (KJVR)
Love preached good news to the poor, it delivered the captives and gave recovery of sight to the blind and brought liberty to those who were bruised (downtrodden and abused) Luke 4:18 (KJVR)
Love took the sins of the whole world 1 John 2:2 (KJVR) Love was beaten until its visage, (its appearance) was like no other man Isaiah 54:14 (KJVR) Love was crowned with thorns, Love was spat upon, mocked and laughed at, Matthew27: 29-31 love was nailed to a cross and even when in agony, even while forsaken (Matthew 27:46) Love forgave a thief and love forgave you. (Luke 23:42-43)
Love came to seek and to save that which was lost, Luke 19:10 (KJVR) Love adopted you; Love gave you the Spirit of adoption whereby you can call me your Abba, your daddy, your Father and your God. Romans 8:15 (KJVR) Forever!!
Let’s talk soon
