Dear CW Family:

Lately, I have been getting a tug at my heart and several confirmations but want to be clear, about maybe moving to Kentucky....

Soooooo, those of you who are in Ky, can you tell me some things about it? Cost of living, Higher or Lower Than Calif? Does Kentucky have places where I can do some volunteer work, for elderly ,homeless, or disabled?What are the medical facilities like?Is there a lot of natural holistic places there, is there a place called Whole Foods Or Trader Joe's there?

What does a 3bdrm 2 bath house go for, or a 2bdrm 1 bath House with a guesthouse......in back. Does Kentucky, have a Best Buy Store there?

I am looking for a country type home.

Let's get crackin here , hahahahaha, am not even sure about this, but, there have been a lot of coincidences(mention) about Kentucky in my email and life lately......

Whatever you can find out for me, please let me know :)

God Bless and Thank you
Love in Christ
Mama Joyce

Joyce, Okay, from where I live:

* KY has a much lower cost of living, exact figures I can get for you.
* All kinds of places to volunteer
* Great medical facilities
* Holistic places/doctors
* Yes, Whole Foods
* The cost of a house is different depending on the area of town and the square footage. Might not be too many with a guesthouse but we can check
* And guess what? My husband is a real estate agent. So...let me know what you want.

Hi Lynn:

Well, this sounds very promising...I am looking for a 3 bedroom 2 bath, country type home. If it has a guest house in the back great, if not, at least have one of the bedrooms way on the other side of the house or even upstairs if its a 2 story..

I would love a fireplace in the living room, and a big kitchen,with walk in food pantry, butcher block table in the middle, and maybe even a breakfast nook,window to look out of, in the kitchen...Dishwasher, and hook ups for washer and dryer,central air and heating.I would like hardwood floors.

A livingroom big enough to hold Bible Study. If possible a dining room to eat in, for at least 10.

Master bedroom to have a jacuzzi bath tub, with bars to help get in and out of tub, and a sit down shower...

a bathroom near my sons room.

A beautiful back yard with fruit trees and shade trees, and a place I can hang my hummingbird feeder, and place my other bird feeders.

Front Yard with sprinkler system. Shade tree in front, and a porch I can put a porch swing on.What are property taxes like there and utilities?

I would like the price range to be anywhere from $250,000 to $350,000, maybe sort of rural but not too far from holistic places and Best Buy, and Whole Foods :) I also would like a place I can volunteer close by if possible.

I hope that gives you some idea.

So, let me know what your husband can come up with ok? My son would like to have his own bedroom and maybe a rec room somewhere....I would like it to have a 2 car detached garage if possible. I am flexible in all areas however.

Ok Lynn I am excitedly waiting for some places to look at :) It will be cash ,because , when I sell my current house I will be able to purchase outright.

Love you
Love Joyce:D
