Book Surge?

Does anyone have any experience publishing through Amazon's Book Surge? I published through Lulu and am looking for a company that may offer a little more that's not too expensive. Thanks in advance! :o

I haven't used Booksurge specifically, but I've been researching the publishing options that are out there for a couple of years now (turned out I decided to do a book about the subject too which I'm working on now).

Anyway, from my research, I can tell you that the majority of the POD companies offer similar services, with price being one factor that can be all over the board, so it's good you are doing your homework.

I would suggest you take a look at www.booklocker.com. They are very straightforward, and have a fair price structure comparitively. The owners also put out a good newsletter and site, www.Writersweekly.com

There is also a site called www.booksandtales.com that has a POD comparison chart.

Also, depending on what you have to spend, how much you want to make per boook and what part of the publishing process you want to handle, you might consider independent self-publishing (the original way to do it).
