Hey everyone! I've recently started installing firefox extensions and there's a few extremely neat and useful ones I'd like to share:
First up, Hyperwords (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1941). I won't give a description of it because this link takes you to a page with a link to a YouTube demonstration.
Next, Answers (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/735). I haven't quite installed this one yet, but I saw my brother using it and it looked very handy and pretty. Hold down Alt and click and you get a popup with info from answers.com
For those of you who want to take screenshots of a page that doesn't fit on the screen, there's Screengrab (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1146). It grabs the whole screen as an image. Not a big thing, but it saves taking multiple screenshots and trying to fit them together.
For those who like to play with HTML/webdesign, try Firebug (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843). It takes about the bottom third of the screen to display the source code in an editable form and will render the page according to the changes you make to the code.
I personally reckon the first two extensions are the most useful, but, depending on what you do online, the others can be helpful too. And, of course, there's plenty more on the Firefox Add-ons page.
Hope this betters your browsing!
Piney.
