Possesed?

I saw on The 700 club that if you watch a movie with spells you can be possesed. If God lives inside why would he just be like "ok, two can live here."???? I 'm God's child alone!
So I wonder---about Harry Potter or Star Dust with witches. @_@

Harry Potter is not from Satan. Some people turned to witchcraft because of Narnia and Lord of the Rings even, so the fault lies with the innate original sin everyone has. Star Dust I haven't seen, but just because something has witches in it, doesn't make it evil. It's whether the witches are portrayed as good etc.
The Harry Potter books have very little real witchcraft (as some ex-witches/warlocks turned Christians) have said and J.K. Rowling herself has said. She's also a Christian and if you actually read the books instead of judging them you may find Christian parallels sprinkled through.

That's not to say they are harmless, nothing really is in this sinful world, but it's not the doomsday device it's portrayed to be. Children shouldn't read them before they are 11 years old and either should those who stumble with witchcraft-related issues, but for everyone else - discernment is the key.

I would be much more concerned about Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' series than Harry Potter. Now there's a worrisome series if ever I saw one (and I have read them all).

P.S. I don't know what the 700 club is but I do know that Christians can't be possessed but we do open a doorway for Satan if we dwell on things of him.
