A friend of mine really enjoys Christian fantasy. Any authors/books that you guys would recommend for her? :)

There is a good list of Christian fantasy at Jeff Gerke's "Where the Map Ends" site:

Try Lord of the Rings.

:p

No, seriously, there's a lot of good Christian fantasy and spec-fic in general. The Where the Map Ends link is a good start... Also look for some of the titles from the Speculative Faith writers (http://specfaith.ritersbloc.com/)

Randy Ingermanson. I can ask dh for some others. He is big into Sci-Fi and Fantasy. You might have them read C.S. Lewis also.

She might try Karen Hancock and her "Legends of the Guardian King" Series.

Karen Hancock's Arena is the best I've ever read. Other than that, the Firebird trilogy is also exceptional by Kathy Tyers.

I know of a really good one, but David hasn't quite finished the final edit yet.
