There are so many things the Lord will tell us. I guess it really depends on us to ask, if we want to know. A lot of times we don't ask because we really would rather do it our way and hope the Lord will make it turn out like we planed, or want it to. And a lot of the time He does just that. But, I have found when He does allow things to come about the way I've wanted, I end up asking His forgiveness and to please clean up the mess. And because of His grace and mercy He does.
I have found in my walk with God there is nothing I have ever asked Him that He did not give me an answer. But what we must learn is the many ways that He answers. I lot of times by hearing nothing doesn't mean, He didn't hear us. God always has his ears fine tuned to our voice. Be it the voice of our soul or the voice of our heart. He has the volume on high and there is no interference in the reception. Nor is there anything that He misses. Wondering how I know what I'm saying is so? Because I asked Him and Coincidents Or Not is what He has given me to share with everyone.
It all seems so absolutely unreal at times. To imagine someone that loves us so much. I know a lot of you have had this same thought. The thought of someone that can see and hear everything, can do anything and really loves us as much as He does. This to me is very over whelming. There are more people than we will ever know that will never get the opportunity to know how much they are loved. Not because He doesn't want them to, but because they just don't take the time to open the door and invite him in. Talk to Him and get to know Him. Do you think for an instant that God would let anyone die and go to hell that once, just once, open that door for Him to come into their lives. I don't think so. He doesn't want any to perish. He says, "In order that everyone who believes in Him may not perish, but have eternal life and live forever!" (John 3:15) Why do you think He has tarried in returning? He is waiting on us! God is not going to do all the work. Not that He couldn't, but every child of God has been given an assignment. He makes it very clear in His Word what it is He wants us to do. His Word says, "will draw and attract all men to Myself". (John 12:32) This is drawn by the Holy Spirit. Well excuse me, but who is it that lives and breathes inside of us? That's right, the Holy Spirit. So, do you think it is by coincidents that we are lade to unbelievers? That unbeliever is being drawn by the Holy Spirit within us to us. All we have to do is be obedient to the Spirit. A lot of times it isn't what is said, but what is done. God equips us with everything that is required to get His will and His purpose fulfilled.
We as children of God walk in His anointing. The anointing is upon us for pacific reasons. I personal believe that any child of God that has truly given his life to Christ walks in His anointing at all times. I'm not saying you can't step out of that anointing into the realm of the flesh because you can and I do and so does everyone. But, when you do, look out because there are evils in that realm that wait for the opportunity to seek and destroy. I think God for His mercy at times like that and for allowing me not to physically drop over dead for being disobedient. Because after all this is His body and soul not mine any more. What I am saying is, if you have truly given up your life for His, then we walk in His anointing to live and breath. His Word says, " I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me." That means I'm dead. The whole body, soul and spirit belongs to Him. So to keep on living and breathing is only because He resides in me and He wills it to be. [Therefore, I do not treat God's gracious gift as something of minor importance and defeat its very purpose ]; I do not set aside and invalidate and frustrate and nullify the grace (unmerited favor) of God. (Galatians 2: 21,22 His anointing covers us. It is His anointing we walk in and with each assignment there are different anointings. Whatever you have been given to do and you know it is of God, you will have everything you need to get the job done.
God is a man of His Word. He has promised He will never leave us or forsake us in times of trouble. He didn't say there wouldn't be times of, but that He will be with us through them. So know that whatever you go through doesn't last forever. Even at the times you feel you can't go on God, is right there in the middle of it all. In fact you would be surprised as to how much He, Himself has carried us through. Whatever it is could have possible been worse if, He hadn't been in control. God never gives us any more than what He knows we can carry. Even while He is caring us through it. Nothing ever happens in our lives that God didn't already know about. It is by His allowing it that makes us the child of God that He has created. Remember, we are created to be changed into His image. The key word here is changed. Nothing ever changes, if everything stays the same. And sometimes more often then not, change is very uncomfortable, painful and down right exhausting. Think of a diamond and all the processes it goes through before reaching the time of elegants. This is as our Father already sees us. The finished elegant vessel. Without flaws.
Remember the story of Moses? God created him for a purpose. Even though Pharaoh cammanded all of his people to throw the newborn Hebrew boys into the Nile River, Moses purpose in life was God's will. And by his mother placing him into that small papyrus reed boat she helped fulfill God's plan. Moses was the Hebrew boy of God's choice to be placed in the house of Pharaoh. Do you sometimes feel surrounded by evil and frusted by how little you can do about it? What seems a small and futile act to you may be just what God will use to change a situation. When faced with evil, look for ways to act against it. Then trust God to use your act, however small, in His war against evil. Moses' mother knew how wrong it would be to distroy her child. But there was little she could do to change Pharaohs' new law. Her only alternative was to hide the child and later place him in a tiny reed basket on the river. God used her small but courageous act to place him exactly where He wanted him.
The Hebrew midwives helped women give birth and cared for the baby until the mother was stronger. When Pharaoh ordered the midwives to kill the Hebrew baby boys, he was asking the wrong people. Most midwives were friends, neighbors, or relatives of the mother. These woman showed great courage and love for God by risking their lives to disobey Pharaoh.
Against Pharaoh's orders, the midwives spared the lives of the Hebrew babies. Their faith in God gave them the courage to take a stand for what they knew was right. In this situation, disobeying the authority was proper. God does not expect us to obey those in authority when they ask us to disobey Him or His Word. The Bible is filled with examples of those who were willing to sacrifice their very lives in order to obey God or save the lives of others.
Whole nations can be caught up in immorality (racial hatred, slavery, prison crueity), but following the majority or the authority is not always right. When we are ordered to act in disobedience to God's Word, we must take a stand to obey God rather than man.
Did God bless the Hebrew midwives for lying to Pharaon? God blessed them not because they lied, but because they saved the lives of innocent children. This doesn't mean that a lie was necessarily the best way to answer Pharaoh. The midwives were blessed, however, for not violating the higher law of God which forbids the senseless slaughter of innocent lives.
Mose's mother was reunited with her baby! God used her small act of courage to overcome almost impossible human circumstances. God doesn't need much from us to accomplish His plan for our lives. Focusing on our human predicament may paralyze us because the situation may appear humanly impossible. But concerntration on God and His power helps us see the way out. That is all He needs to begin His work in us.
Do you see things in your own lives that you have thought, is this a coincident or not? It wasn't a coincident that God created Moses to be a Hebrew baby. Nor was it a coincident his mother placed him in a tiny boat that took him down the river. Or, that his aunt was one of Pharaoh's wifes maidens which helped care for Moses. God's plan and purpose for our lives is complete in all things. Right down to what we sometimes call coincidents but are not.
Do you remember the story of Abraham and his only son Isaac? God tested Abraham's [faith and obedience]. God commanded Abraham to give his son as a scrifice to prove his love for God. As Abraham took the knife and lifted it up to plunge it into his son, to slay him the Angel of God shouted to him from heaven. Lay down the knife; don't hurt the lad in any way. The Angel said to him that he knew God was first in his life because he hadn't held back, not even his only son. Do you remember what took place next? Abraham noticed a ram caught by his horns in a bush. Abraham then took the ram and sacrificed it, instead of his son, as a burnt offering on the alter. This story is in Genesis 22.
Abraham was given one of the greatest acts of obedience known to man. Over the years he had learned many tough lessons about the importance of obeying God. This time his obedience was prompt and complete. Obeying God is often a stryggle, because it may mean giving up something we truly want. We should not always expect our obedience to God to be easy or come naturally. God did not want the physical death of Isaac, but he wanted Abraham to "sacrifice" Isaac in his heart so Abraham would be convinced that he loved God more than he loved his son. The purpose of testing is to strengthen our character and deepen our commitment to God. Through this difficult experience, Abraham learned about God's ability to provide.
Do you think you could have been as obedient as Abraham? It was his faith and trust in God to know God would provide. Was it coincident or not that a ram appeared with his horns tangeled in a bush? I ask myself, could I have been as obedient as Abraham. Or would I have failed the test of my love for God. We really never know until we have been commanded by God to do something. It all comes down to our faith, obedience and love to the one who gave His life for us. My love is the love to fulfill everything God has in my purpose for life.
We are the ones that will set the pace for the next generation. We need to approch everday with the thought of God in everything. Trust that He knows what He is doing, reguardless of what it is He ask us to do. It is the next generation that will learn from our faith, obedience and love for God, as we learned from our forefathers. They then will know how to trust and react when God speaks to them.
