Hi, I'm Cheryl and I have been looking for a writing site since the closing of the Christian site where I was a contributing writer. It was an awesome outreach mag called "Reflections " I was truly blessed to experience spiritual growth and diversity in my writing through the founder/publisher and editor of the magazine, Janet. I believe God put her in my space but sadly it was only for a season as the site closed. I will forever give thanks to God for Janet who was my encourager and tutor. However, feeling lost has led me to find this site and I am trusting that this is a fruitful find. I look forward to sharing and caring with you all. God bless, Cheryl D. :)

Welcome to CW. This has been a very fruitful find for me. I pray that it will be for you also.

What type of mag was reflections?

Hi, welcome to CW. This site probably works differently to the one you mention but the aim is probably the same - to encourage. We share a lot here trying to draw out the best in each others writing. Hope you find it to be your new home.

Thanks for welcomes, makes being found feel fruitful.

Reflections was a downloadable outreach magazine. It was owned by a Publishing House called "Abundant Blessings". All writers were unpaid contributors and what an amazing bunch of writers. I believe you can still access it on the web.

We had a calendar with various topics a month. We had to choose a max of 3of these with submission deadlines. Janet, the owner, was so encouraging with positive comments and awesome workshops.

I have been surfing the web looking for sites and one I came across by Stan Baldwin was great. He spoke about the 7 deadly sins of a writer and I fell into most which has prompted me to buckle up and be obedient with my wonderful gift of writing for Christ.

I need to write!

God bless, Cheryl D.
