I have an (well actually I have MANY) idea for a Christian novel that's been rattling around in my head for years now that I'd really like to see in print. Lately the desire to write it has been eating away at me but I don't have as much time to commit to it as a full project since I'm currently deep in the throes of writing the sequel to my first novel.

I DO, however, have time to punch out every other chapter every couple of days, if someone would like to come in and co-author the book with me.

The story follows a young Amish girl, strict parents, strict upbringing, but with terrible nightmares of the world "outside" her community. As a young teen she runs away from the Amish way of life and makes her way to Los Angeles. There she gets involved in the worst kind of life including the very REAL world of witchcraft and the occult. When a young Christian man reaches out to her and begins to pull her away from her dark life, the powers of evil (and her closest friends) turn against her in a shocking and powerful climax!

That's the story idea, anyway. Needs to be fleshed out by multiple and more detailed outlines (which you'd help with if you're interested). I'm willing to share this project 50/50 with anyone with TRUE dedication to the work. Please don't start this and flake on me. Know thyself...if you're the type who can start a project with enthusiasm then slack off, please don't waste my time. You can e-mail me at

Angyl,
Like the idea. Do you know anything about the Amish? What part of the book would you write? What are your strengths and weaknesses?
