Jay,

I just took the time to read all that you have posted. You have an amazing gift of communication.

I was especially touched as I sat under the same tree in so close to the same circumstances. Instead of anger I had hurt and instead of a knife I had a two-edged razor blade. I was stone-cold sober and serious.

I didn't hear an audible voice, but God did speak to my heart that He would forgive me for taking my own life but that He was going to hold me accountable for the life of the child I carried...

Sometimes I think we get to racing down the hill so fast that we forget such milestones in our haste.

God didn't turn my life around that day under the tree, but He did save it. It wasn't too much later that I did hear His audible voice. He said simply, "You had better not turn away this time." I didn't.

Thanks for the kind words, it is wonderful how God speaks to us on all levels isn't it? His mercy endures to all generations!
