Stepping-Stones Book Proposal Service

Dear Writers,

The mission of the Stepping-Stones Book Proposal Service is to help writers develop the best book proposal packages possible by giving them an honest critique and offering ideas for improvement with editing. This is all about promotion, the quality of your work and the way it is presented is critical for success. Your query must be strong, brief, and engaging. It must grab the agent or publisher’s attention. Your synopsis must also be strong and compelling enough to cause the agent or editor to want to read your sample chapters. Your opening chapters must be gripping so that the agent or publisher will request the full manuscript.

One thing I often hear from writers is how they dread the writing of their book proposal; especially their query letters and synopsizes. I would like to help ease that process. The critique service includes a thoughtful, thorough reading, with a written overview, with manuscript notations. I will also give subsequent reads for the same proposal at no additional charge. Let’s get it right!

A Book Proposal Consists of:

Who are your audience and why the book would be marketable.
