Yes, I'm an Artist.
I have a BFA in Drawing with minors in Illustration and Graphic Design.
Visit my web site to see some Sculptures (http://hisart.us/pagethree.html) I've been doing lately as well as some new illustrations (http://hisart.us/pagefour.html)!

-WARNING-
I am a christian, a Born-Again Biker, so my artwork is NOT done in the style of 'chirstianism'. I am called to shear the goats and bring the monies into the kingdom, not move the church's money around. My art is CLEAN, but not sweet and mushy. I was a tattooist and I am still a biker, so if you're looking for sticky sweet precious moments, I'm NOT your man!

Enough of the warnings.:D

Click on the BlogFrog (http://hisart.us/pageseven.html) on the Face to Face page to go to my Blog, or just go to to my blog 'Sword and Pen' (http://www.hisart777.blogspot.com/). I participated in NaNoWriMo '05 (http://www.nanowrimo.org/simpleinfo.php?uid=94832) and am a winner with 56,378 handwritten words!

I love Jesus with ALL my heart! If He hadn't saved me back there I would be screaming in hell right now! I will never turn from Him and He promised to never leave me. The above warning was to jerk your chain and make sure you understand me. ;)

Enough!

Just wanted to give my endorsement, from a buyer's end. Always a pleasure to work with Hisart on projects and his style impresses the folks at DEP.

A couple samples off the top of my head:

Thanks Bill and Phy for the endorsements! ;)

Thanks Keith and Pixy for looking! :D

I use Photoshop Elements 2 for the most part. I love to work in layers and PSE2 does a great job! The illustrations "The Starting Gate. - Quaid's only chance." (http://www.dkamagazine.com/item.php?sub_id=15), "Capt. Jack Bowie - Texas Regular Army" (http://www.theswordreview.com/item.php?sub_id=154) and Takeda's Strike (http://raygunrevival.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=314) were done with PSE2.

Both "Briskburner-First Strike" (http://www.dkamagazine.com/item.php?sub_id=106) and "Tyrant's End: Morent's First Thrust" (http://www.dkamagazine.com/item.php?sub_id=191) were done in india ink first. They were colored using washes of acrylics, like watercolors, then they were scanned in and touched up {india ink has a shine to it} in PSE2.

All these can be seen on my site Hisart.us (http://hisart.us) on my illustration (http://hisart.us/pagefour.html) page too, but I like promoting the ezines that they're in!

God Bless!
