This looks really good. The speaker is a newspaper columnist..just what I want to do! I am telling my writing group about it and we may come together or at least the leader and I will come hopefully.
Thanks for telling us about it.

Hello Butterfly,

I look forward to meeting you and your writing friends! Chaplain Norris will be a great person for you to meet. I'm sure he will have some useful advice and encouragement for you as you begin your blog for the newspaper. I have read your posts about what you are doing and it sounds great. ( I haven't heard, did you get a "yes" yet?) I am trusting that this is a "God thing" that you would have an opportunity to meet with Norris and learn about writing regularly for a secular publication from a Christian viewpoint.

I have had a very tough week with the death of my cousin's husband. I am grateful to have a positive event to look forward to on Tuesday.

Clinging to the Vine,

Butterfly

Hi Elizabeth -
I have been praying for you and your family the past few days.
Regarding the blog opportunity, The person who is in on the decision at the newspaper is on vacation this week, so I am in waiting mode. So, no I do not have an answer about it yet. I am nervously hoping for a yes...and then hoping I can actually do it, can I come up with interesting ideas on a weekly basis? I did it for 10 years, but have not attempted it for the last 5 years. So theoreticaly(sp?) I should have 5 years of unused material in my head (or in my spirit) right?
This is a stepping out on a limb experience...feels like a God thing to me.
See you soon!
