I'm considering offering blogs to CW members, but need to gauge interest in such a feature. If you'd like to see it happen, please let me know here (http://4Believers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3081).
Thanks! :)

I haven't the slightest idea of what you are talking about; just do it. I will spend my time in science and creation.

I wouldn't personally use the blog feature, as keeping up with my two are hard enough, but I'd enjoy reading others' daily ramblings.

Ask CW members any type of meaningful question, whether it is relevant to computers and cybernetics, or how to fold a birdseye diaper in 1928 you may be writing about; to making nail soup or breaking Lamas to work and ride or other aimal and baby training -- you name it. If answers are more than a paragraph in length, let the reply(ies) be sent to an email address....cc to whomever may need the same answer.
Quick Learning,
Paulajo.

Bloggs...e-mail answers..questions and answers.. ain't I getting lost in the static of paragraphs talk restricted to half squawk 'space'? The big question..beyond whether anyone would pay members for it....is really whether 'links' on-blogg page can be assumed to be 'mileage-in-kind'.
Reading 'clip' bloggs can be frustrating.

Hi Rosalie
A blog can be anything you want it to be. You can write stories, or random thoughts, you can use it like a journal or diary or even to brainstorm and keep track of information. There doesn't have to be a real subject matter unless you want it have one. Also, you can write as much or as little as you like. It's up to you. I have one on another site, and sometimes there is only a sentence and sometimes I have a long winded tirade about something that has irritated me. And most certainly, you could use it to write down the funny things kids say. :)
Also, you can write in it every day or just whenever you feel like it. It just depends on what you feel like writing about.

_____Between editing, posting in threads, keeping my site up to date, and searching the net for leads, I simply do not have the time for a blog. If I want to blah, I can do it in the genrual forum. Also, arn't there plenty of free blog places for people to upload all their ramblings? I'm asking because I wonder what would be the benifit of hosting a blog. I may change my mind if it really is benifital.

That sounds great Sherry. Where would I start? Do I just start writing anywhere on this forum and title it "My Blog." I know that this sounds silly. Thanks. Rosalie

Rosalie, blogs are websites that are hosted by someone else. They offer standard layout and easy web-publishing. Instead of republishing your entire website everytime you add something, (f you had your own website), a blog allows you to make daily posts easily.
Check out xanga.com and blogger.com, for two of the more popular blogging sites. You have to sign up and go through a few steps to create a basic blog. You need a title for your blog and you'll have a choice of a few layouts and other options. You may choose to allow comments on your posts, meaning other readers can leave feedback on your writing.

I think it would be a great thing. I know little about blogs but what I've read of other writers' blogs they can be about most anything. I think it would be a nice challenge. !thumbsup!
