Hi Rebecca,
On the "other" I voted for, I'd like to see one or two critique forums that are for those who wish to participate in more dedicated and in-depth critique groups (like a writing group) and are password protected. Maybe no one else would be interested in this.

Rebecca,
I'd like to join in with Dr. Rita on her suggestion, if I may. That sounds like it would be a very useful tool in addition to all the wonderful resources this website provides us. Thank you, Rebecca for that you do for us! We really appreciate it

This site is the best writer's site that I've seen so far and those extras will make it even better. !thumbsup!

I did not vote for "other," but I am all for Dr. Rita's idea. Actually that is why I signed up here. I want people to critique my stories so I don't always have to ask my husband. This would be a really good idea, and I would love it.

I'm not sure I understand why it would be password protected unlesss we want to keep certain people out. There are groups everywhere and I have posted several pieces and I have yet to get an indepth critique.

It is very important is have a pass word. Go to "Support," "Support Forum," and then read "When Can A New Member Post Stories for Reading." This will help you.

I voted other.

I think Help & Advice forums and Interactive Writing forum or some kind of Writing Challenges forum are all great forums to have on a writer's site. :)

Cheers,

Agape from Agape Sharing Center, sure is enjoying all of the good points and the views. Is there anyone that has gotten anything published out there?
Where to look for someone to tell you if you are on the right track before publishing? Have much to say about the life that most seem to live, and share a few things that has been learned throughout this journey called life. Would like to speak about the shortage of time and making the most of it. Thinking about the unselfish act of placing something like this where anyone with right motivation can read, be benefited by it and learn from it. Later I would like to share how it was that I come to the conclusion that I might like to write. To give voice some of my experiences in life.
Glad to meet the Preacher Lady. Hope to speak with her at sometime. There was a person on at sometime ago that needed to be encouraged to hang in there when it seemed impossible and wanted to say that to them.

Those of us that need "encouragement" to actually write something of our own rather than tinker with other peoples writing (which always seems more enticing) would probably benefit from writing challenges - but I appreciate that admin of such would be a nightmare and the facility is available at other sites anyway.

_____I voted other... hehe. I wanted a list of every persons web-page that has posted more than 50 posts on this site. Than I could keep a list of writers on my links page. I just like to link I guess. :)

He's 18" tall so I don't think he'd perch real well on the old PC.

Meaning no disrespect, but I think perhaps Angel and Hisart should carry on this thrilling exchange by e-mail. ;) Meanwhile, let me answer the actual question and purpose of this thread. I enjoy many kinds of word games, so that option interested me. It seems to me that bandying ideas in the General Discussion forums would preclude having official articles, although that might be helpful, too.
