4Believers Update

The 4Believers section (http://christianwriters.com/forumdisplay.php?f=54) (for posting & showcasing your completed work) is now accepting submissions.

Please note that while functional, the area is still actively under construction. I'm currently working with the style and setup to give the 4B section its own unique feel, while still remaining a part of the CW site. I expect to complete construction by week's end.

If you have any issues accessing or questions about the 4B section, please post them in the Support Forum (http://christianwriters.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7).

Are the submissions going to be screened? Are there any guidelines? Does one have to be a member? Just curious since we have discussed this in the Mod's lounge so wondered if anything has changed?

DrRita - Submission is open only to members. For the most part, we will not need to approve/screen entries before they are approved. It's my intention to make the entries sortable by either genre or author. Guidelines will be mostly for format and to restrict offensive content.

Are these works to nonmembers? If so, I believe that most other publishers (I'm thinking ezines like Double-Edge Publishing or Perpetual Magazine) would consider anything submitted to 4B as published, and will therefore not take a submission we put on 4B because they want first rights.

Will 4B care if we have something published elsewhere (assuming the other place doesn't care where we repost a work)? Will 4B want first rights to a piece?

Some things to think about.
