It's Election Day in the USA! If you're a US citizen, don't forget to vote! Regardless of nationality, please pray for the election results today and for our country's future. This is an important day!
God bless you all,

Amen, Rebecca!
Hubby & I voted on Saturday, and today, I acted as a poll watcher, even tried to challenge a few voters (although the ill-trained workers wouldn't enforce my challenge!)
Please, if you're registered, remember to vote sometime today. It's too important to put off!

Really? That sounds interesting. What was the basis of your challenge and what reason did the other workers give for not enforcing the challenge? I'm curious.
I'm praying for a good result. I pray that God will protect our country.

I voted as did my lovely wife.
A non vote is a vote for whomever wins.
To those who didn't vote, your man is now president.

Praying for all our brothers and sisters in America, that those who feel defeated and fearful will be gracious and those who feel jubilant and hopeful will act with humility.
Wife and I tried to vote early, but the line was so long we didn't even get in. There were reports of three-hour waits, and that looked about right.
So on election day, we were in and out of the polling place in about ten minutes. . .

I worked the polls. There were a lot of people there who never voted before. But the truth is Obama wouldn't be the president elect unless Christians voted for him.

I had a separate list that came through the GOP but from the election office. Some of the people that were on the rolls weren't on my list--and they were supposed to match, thus the basis for my challenge. They tried to brush it off as them being 'DMV' registrations (thank you, motor voter laws!) but some of these people weren't first time voters, so something was wrong there. To be sure, I think there was some fraud going on in this election. Can I prove it? Nope, not really.
In other news, I'm now depressed. I can't believe the American people were duped into voting for this idiot! Even some people at my church--in my small group!--voted for him... *sigh* When will people learn not to be misled by fast/slick talk??? Look deeper, people! Where's the plan? Where's the substance???
I'm seriously thinking of moving to Ireland for the next 4 years... Just have to convince hubby...

May God forgive them the innocent blood that now drips from their fingers!

Neither Obama or McCain were very good choices. Both had strongly non-biblical beliefs and ideas for the US. It's hard to say who is really the better of the two.
