In an effort to reduce spam, I've added a new policy; new members are no longer able to post links and photos until they pass the probationary period and become full-fledged members. My hope is this will help reduce hit-and-run spammers, and the influx of "signature spammers" we've seen lately.
If a new member tries to post a photo or link, they will receive an error message explaining the policy, and referring them to the section of our FAQ about membership levels and probationary memberships (http://christianwriters.com/forums/faq.php?faq=new_faq_item#faq_newmember_faq_item).
This policy will have no effect on the accounts of our regular members.
