Hi. I'm new, but have a couple of questions which I couldn't see covered in the faq.
1. Can work be submitted as often as anyone likes, or is there a limit, such as one item per fortnight?
2. At present I have access denied to certain parts of the website such as Manuscript Showcase. Do I get access after a certain period as a member, or what is the story?

Hi Tellit,

Glad to have you aboard! :) The answers to your questions are as follows:

1) There is no set limit to the work you submit. However, a good rule of thumb is to space your submissions out over a period of several days or weeks. This will keep your work in the syndicated "new stories" lists, and therefore allow your work greater exposure.

2) All members have access to all member utilities. If you are unable to access a feature, please post a support request here in the member's support forum and I will look into it.

We may offer the Manuscript Showcase feature again in the future; however, is not available at this time. Please let me know where you found the link to it so I may have it removed.

Hi Cawheat,

Many of our headline requests come from RSS/XML repositories such as Syndic8 and XMLtree. Unfortunately, there is no accurate way to gauge how many sites are harvesting our headlines from these resources, since the requests do not originate from our server.

Publishing the ChristianWriters.com RSS/XML feeds in the larger repositories serves our site well, as it publicizes our content to a much larger, more diverse audience and reduces the load on our servers.

We do, however, know of at least a few sites which syndicate our content directly from our own server. Look for a list to be posted on the ChristianWriters.com site within the next few days.. I think you will be pleasantly surprised to see where we're listed. :)

Doh! I can't believe we missed the most obvious link! hehe.. Thanks for pointing it out! I will have it corrected before close of business today. :p

Btw, if there is enough interest in the Manuscript Showcase feature, I will consider resurrecting it. Is this something you would use?
